A lot has happened in the last 2 weeks!
We got the greenhouse redone so I can use it this fall and winter. Going to experiment with growing all year. Time will tell how it goes.
We had another little goat kid born. She was a weakling. I had to take her from mom and bottle feed her. Wasn’t in my plans with all else we have going on but whatcha gonna do🤷♀️.
I put eggs in the incubator and they are due to begin hatching on Thursday. Hoping for a successful hatch. I’ve had failed hatches so I know how quickly things can go wrong, but I always remain hopeful.
I’ve started working on the garden beds prepping them for planting in April. I’m hopeful today to get some onions planted.
The seeds I planted have germinated and are doing great. I now need to transplant a few to bigger containers until it’s planting time.
The trees are in bloom and my flowers have come up and are beautiful! I love my hyacinths, as I pass by them the scent of them wafting in the air is glorious! My winter blues have passed and I’m looking forward to this spring season. I’m already enjoying sitting outside of a morning on my swing with my coffee. Sometimes I read other times I just sit in the quiet and listen to the birds. Life is good!
I really can’t imagine my life being any other way. I have no desire to do anything different than what I’m doing! In the near future I’ll rewrite about finding this land what all we endured when we first moved over here. We have come such a long ways!
Until next time…
Be a blessing!
Here are some pictures! Enjoy! I’ll write more later!
